This is: Jaimy Zappeij – Back-end developer

Our team consists of about 40 employees, so there's always something to tell. In the section 'This is' we interview a colleague about his or her work, but also about dreams, trends and what we have just wanted to know about it. This is Jaimy Zappeij!

Hi, who are you and what are you doing at Buro N11?

My name is Jaimy Zappeij, I am 20 years old and live in Bodegraven. I have been working as a back-end developer at Buro N11 since 2016.

What do you like about it?

I really like the alternation of the projects: there is always something to learn!

What are you most proud of?

That When I was 16, I started at Buro N11. The project I am most proud of is the AutoRAI website.

How do you keep up to date with what's going on in your field?

Lots of internet. There are always new techniques and frameworks to discover and try out.

What's the last book you've read?

I never actually read books, but the last book I remember is 'Adventures of Huckleberry Finn' by Mark Twain.

What three things are you happy about?

Netflix, coffee and win with foosball!

What are you listening to in the car?

Depends on the ride. On a short drive I often listen to Radio538, during long road trips heavy metal from the speakers.

What's your biggest dream?

Travel more! America and Japan are still on my bucket list.

What question would you ask which colleague?

Bas, did you solve that Rubik's Cube in your photo?
